Politicians must be held to account for the unilateral decision to take part in the illegal invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. Military top brass must be held to account for accepting sanitised reporting, or for wilfully ignoring crimes that were taking place.

To implement the recommendations of the #AfghanInquiry free from any real or perceived conflicts of interest, General's Campbell & Burr must resign. If they won't do the right thing by veterans & the public then @ScottMorrisonMP should sack them #AusPol jordon-steele-john.greensmps.org.au/articles/gener…

France, Sweden, Italy, Germany & the USA all have a War Powers act to limit the military power of the executive. An Australian War Powers act will mean no politician will ever again be able to dodge responsibility for sending our ADF personnel into conflict overseas #AusPol

RT @shalailah: It's fantastic that Australians are keeping a close eye on the crumbling democracy that is the US. I just wished they'd pay closer attention to the small ways we're chipping away at our own, without assuming what's happening in US can't possibly happen here.

RT @arielbogle: After an election cycle-worth of reporting on online political ads and data, Australia's political misinformation problem can only worsen. Forget Russians, this is domestic. No spend limits, no truth in advertising, no oversight, no transparency. Ex 1: abc.net.au/news/science/2…
